HOW TO LOVE YOURSELF.

When I go to the beach, one of the first things I do is stand back and look for as far and wide as I can see.
What I don’t do, is go to the beach and start picking up pebbles or shells, scrutinising them and comparing one to another…
…’Well if I just throw this one away and this one that’ll make things look better’.
All of them are accepted as part of this picture that creates such natural beauty.
Perfectly imperfect.
So rather than ‘trying’ to love ourselves, let us lean into ‘allowing and accepting’ of whatever is right here, right now.
To love ourselves ~ our perceived outer and inner flaws and the world around us, we can treat it all like the beach.
All of it can be here from this vast open allowing.
Nothing needs to be changed, altered, removed, discarded or pushed away.
What if we met ourselves the way we meet the beach.
In that, there comes a relaxing into all that is and a seeing of a vast beauty we had perhaps overlooked.
‘Whatever arises, accept that’.
