Seeing through belief.

Those times when thought and emotion feel all-consuming. We may try ~fruitlessly and fearfully~ to untangle them, fix them, push them away, distract ourselves, or run from them.


Yet far simpler and more effective than this, we can see thoughts and the emotions that follow like the wiper blades moving back and forth, and raindrops arriving one after another.


We can look past them / through them ~ while simultaneously allowing them to be here.


Completely.


Nothing to do. Nothing to change.


Trusting and knowing that, without our interference, the mind settles on its own ~ in its own time.


Just as the weather always does.
