No thing needs fixing.

One of the most beautiful, yet perhaps confusing, realisations is this:
Nothing has ever gone wrong.
The mind may object to this fact.
It will search through the past for evidence that this can’t possibly be true.
It will point to moments it labels as mistakes, missed opportunities or wrong decisions.
But notice something.
Where is the past?
Not as a thought.
Not as a memory.
Can you actually find it?
Or is there only this moment, with thoughts and images appearing within it?
The past is experienced now.
The future is imagined now.
Life is always only ever here.
This doesn’t mean that memories won’t arise.
They may.
Emotions may arise too.
Sadness.
Joy.
Grief.
Relief.
Fear.
Love.
None of these are a problem.
They don’t mean you’ve failed to understand something.
They are simply movements appearing within the openness that you are.
Sometimes people hear that there is no separate self and conclude that nothing should happen anymore.
That isn’t what is being pointed to.
Life still moves.
Conversations happen.
Decisions appear.
People hug.
People cry.
People laugh.
Compassion naturally expresses itself.
Not because someone is controlling life, but because life is simply living itself.
There is something deeply relaxing in seeing this.
The burden of trying to become the perfect version of yourself begins to soften.
The endless search to undo the past begins to lose its grip.
Not because the mind has been convinced.
But because you begin to see that awareness itself has never been harmed by anything appearing within it.
Like clouds passing through an open sky, every experience comes and goes.
The sky doesn’t cling to the clouds.
It doesn’t resist them.
It simply remains open.
This is what peace really is.
Not the absence of thoughts.
Not the absence of emotion.
Not getting life right.
But recognising the stillness that has been quietly present throughout every experience.
Nothing needs fixing in order for this moment to be complete.
Nothing needs adding.
Nothing needs taking away.
Life is already happening.
Life is living you.
