ARE YOU BEING SERVED!

Often, there comes a deeper seeing…

A clearer understanding of something that wasn’t fully visible before.

It can feel like a rising ~ a levelling UP ~

As though the eyes become clearer, and a new level of consciousness is reached.

This is a natural unfolding.

And of course, the guidance and meditations shared here can offer gentle, profound support for this seeing…

One day, while doing ordinary household tasks, I kept hearing a tune in my mind.

I didn’t pay much attention at first. Like many of us, I often hum tunes without even noticing.

But after it repeated a few times, I paused and thought,

“What is that tune?!”

It sounded so familiar. I began to really listen… and suddenly I realised ~ it was the theme tune from the old British sitcom Are You Being Served?

I burst out laughing as the lyrics came back to me:

Ground floor perfumery,

Stationery and leather goods,

Wigs and haberdashery,

Kitchenware and food… going up!

First floor telephones,

Gents’ ready-made suits,

Shirts, socks, ties, hats,

Underwear and shoes… going up!

Even more laughter bubbled up as I remembered the famous catchphrase from one of the cast members, John Inman:

“I’m free!”

And then ~ as more memories surfaced ~ I saw it all with fresh eyes.

The entire sitcom takes place in a department store called ~quite fittingly~ Grace Brothers 😁

You see, the Universe is YOU.

And it is You SERVING You, in the most perfect and unexpected ways.

So… Are you being served?

Oh yes.

When we trust the heart over the mind chatter, we begin to see that Life is most definitely on our side.

And then ~

we remember, as one of the cast catch phrases goes:

I AM free!
