WHEN THE MIND DOUBTS THIS PEACE.

Updated: Jun 29, 2025

Why we return to old patterns~even when we begin to feel better.

As the mind begins to quieten and the body starts to experience more regular moments of peace, it’s not uncommon to find yourself slipping back into believing negative thought patterns.

This can feel confusing, even discouraging~but it’s a common part of the process.

There are a few key reasons this happens.

Most significantly: listening to negative thinking is often all we’ve ever known. It becomes a deeply ingrained habit~one that feels familiar, even addictive. And before we realise it, we’ve been pulled back in.

The “what if this?” or “what if that?” stories~along with the uncomfortable physical sensations they trigger~can feel all-consuming. We’ve become so used to reacting to these thoughts, rather than simply observing them and allowing them to pass.

And then there’s the deeper belief beneath it all:

That you can’t fully trust this peace.

That a quiet mind and a steady, peaceful life aren’t really possible~at least, not for you.

But I can tell you with absolute certainty, having experienced both ends of the spectrum~this kind of peace is possible. Not just for a special few, but for everyone.

My own journey, and the Insights that continue to unfold, have shown me in the most gentle and profound way how to guide others back to that same space of inner peace.

No matter the outer circumstances.

You can return to this space again and again~because it’s already within you.

~

With infinite love.
