Have you noticed that one moment (day or even week) you are feeling uncomfortable, undesirable emotions and then at other times you feel better (calmer, happier).
The fact you’re feeling a lot better at times and pretty rubbish at other times shows something significant that you may be dismissing.
It means that emotions are coming and going… That they do not remain fixed.
Even when this seems like a chronic situation such as with major depression, panic attacks and so on… there are times, even if they seem fleeting when you have calmer moments.
What is profoundly important to recognise in this is that there must be ‘something’ which is noticing these changes.
If there wasn’t a witness to this, how would you be able to report back on this change of state?
What is it that remains? As a constant?
THIS one is awareness.
THIS one is the witness.
THIS one is the True Self.
This is why I don’t teach you this, because the one that you truly are is already here!
Simply being overlooked.
Yet through gentle guidance there is a recognising of this awareness more and more and uncomfortable emotion starts to dissolve, leaving the Peace & Love of this ‘silent witness’ to shine through.
